You will be presented with the 3 steps required for signing in on your TV suing Pin Pairing.

Sign in or sign up to unlock great ITV shows 

1. On a smartphone, tablets or PC/Laptop go the the internet

Type in www.itv.com/pair 

2. Sign into your account, or register for one (it’s completely FREE!) 
3. Enter this 6 digital code when prompted XXXXXX 

Using your Smart Phone or Computer open a Google search and input the address www.itv.com/pair 

The result will provide Device Pairing – ITVX which you will need to click on. 

At this stage you will be asked to sign in or to register 

You will be required to input your own personal details such as name, date of birth, postcode, email address and then choose a memorable password. 

If you would like to have emails about ITV programmers, products and services, including our exclusive content. Offers and experiences please click this options. Then agree to the Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the page. Click on submit to register your ITV.com account. 

Once this is done you can view with adverts for free or you can subscribe to ITVX for advert free viewing. 

Now, you need the 6 digit code from your TV to complete the pin pairing. You will find the 6 digit code on your TV as shown here. 

Once you’ve entered your code, as we have done on the computer, you can press continue. You should get a message on your TV letting you know you are now signed in.

• Open YouTube App on your Smart TV
• Click on the Gear button and tap on Sign–in
• You'll see an 8-digit code on TV screen and stay on this screen until you've completed the remaining steps.
• Then go to the website YT.be/activate or youtube.com/activate in a web browser on your PC or mobile phone
• Sign in to your Google Account by entering account details. If you have multiple Google accounts, please select the account you use with YouTube. If you're already signed in, skip to the steps below.
• After signing in, you may be presented with a list of Google identities associated with your YouTube account.
• Once you've selected an account, enter the activation code shown in the YouTube app on your TV. Click Allow access and wait for the confirmation screen in the app.

How To Activate Youtube on Smart TV (for older TV models):

• Open YouTube App on your Smart TV
• Click Sign in from the menu on the left side
• You'll see an 8-digit code on TV screen and stay on this screen until you've completed the remaining steps.

• Once you've selected an account, enter the activation code shown in the YouTube app on your TV. Click Allow access and wait for the confirmation screen in the app.

How to Play and Control Videos:

When playing a video, you can find additional options by selecting More actions. You can navigate to the following options from the More actions menu:

• Subscribe to the channel
• Rate the video
• Flag the video for violating community guidelines 

Disable Autoplay

YouTube on TV includes a feature called autoplay. This means a suggested video will automatically play after the video you are currently watching.

To disable autoplay, go into your menu and choose Settings > Autoplay, then uncheck the box.

After you disable this feature, you will still see suggested videos once you finish the video you are watching, but nothing will play automatically.
